Reviews and cons and holidays

Firsty, a belated Hello! to anyone I met at Fantasycon. If I said/did anything stupid whilst in the bar/on the dancefloor/on a panel, that wasn’t me, it was my Evil Twin, Ms Sarah Pinborough.

I’ve been delighted at the reception Downside Girls has been getting. You can read a couple of the more head-swelling reviews here and here. For anyone who hasn’t already bought/won a copy, I’ll be doing a giveaway or two on Goodreads later this month.

The household is currently in pre-holiday chaos as we try to get everything done that needs doing before decamping to a Cornish fishing village for a week. No fishing will take place, although Beloved has threatened to go swimming in the sea.

After that, Bristolcon, where I will no doubt be involved in interesting stuff – details TBC. Then a couple of relatively quiet weeks after which Downside Girls gets its official print launch at Novacon where (all together now) I’m the Guest of Honour.
