Downside Girls – available (again) soon

I have a great affection for my 2012 anthology Downside Girls. It contains early stories, since refined but still favourites of mine, as well as having the best cover evah; plus the marvellous Alastair Reynolds was kind enough to write a foreword for it.

Downside Girls originally came out from Clarion, who were a pleasure to work with. Alas, like many small presses, they are no more, and I acquired the rights back earlier this year. But now, thanks to Tower of Chaos press the anthology will be back on the book shelves this week, at least virtually, with a print version planned for later in the year.

Although the timing was coincidental this is of course election week in the UK. When better to re-release a book set in a democracy by assassination?
