Short and free

The US e-zine ‘Labyrinth Inhabitant’ have just published Angel Dust, one of the prequel short stories I wrote when I was working on Principles of Angels. You can currently read it for free here, though I don’t know how long that will be true (so check it out now, as they say).

In other news, I’ve seen enough reviews of Consorts of Heaven to confirm that opinion is definitely divided. SFX published a glowing review, which certainly made my day (in print, so I’m afraid I can’t reproduce it here). Eric Brown in The Guardian was more equivocal, though still entirely fair.
