Finished!

The first draft of Guardians of Paradise is finally complete. Time to get on with all those other things I should have been doing this month: revising short stories, revisiting Epiphany Night and in (what we laughingly call) the real world Project House De-Clutter. I should probably be more pleased than I am, but at the moment I mainly just want to reduce my to-do list. I’m also aware that the book will be lucky if it gets a full month lying fallow before I have to start the re-work.

One thing that has cheered me up recently was being amongst those name-checked in this article in The Guardian.
