Up for air

I’m about a quarter of the way into the rewrites for Consorts, and it’s rather taken over my life. Because I am that rare beast, a writer who prefers rewriting to first draft, I don’t mind too much (though I’m aware that I’m shamefully neglecting Beloved, who is currently laid up after a knee op). I did surface long enough to eat dinner with friends and have a walk round our local hill-fort this weekend (oh look, excess food! fizzy wine; oh look, nature! spring!), but other than that it’s all work and no play just now.

The non-appearance of the promised interview is not M the Uber-Geek’s fault, but appears to be due to my normal email machine having decided that it is in awe of his geekiness and will therefore lose any emails I send to him from it. I’ve now resent, so expect it to turn up here at some point soon.
