We have friends from New Zealand staying. They’re originally from Round ‘ere but now live Over There. While I was working one of them went into the village. He came back and told me he’d just run into someone he knew. I asked if he meant from before he moved to NZ. No, he said, someone from his town in NZ who just happened to be over in England right now.
Which goes to prove what I have always thought: there are only a thousand real people in the whole world.
In other news, ‘Principles of Angels’ has had its final edit and been despatched back to my editor. Any further changes will be cosmetic only.
