Strange Attractors, a collection of short stories, is out today from Newcon Press.
It covers 20 years worth of my writing, and a wide variety of subjects. OK, it’s all ‘spec-fic’ (or SFF, or whatever you want to call it) but as well as my ‘default’ genre of science fiction I’ve dabbled in fantasy, alt. history, slipstream, mystery, weird fiction and even horror.
Short stories are great like that: they allow you to experiment without committing a year of your life to writing a novel. They were my first love and for as long as I can write, I’ll keep writing them.
