Saving the Arkship

Last year RichCast, the new mobile storytelling app, commissioned me to write an interactive story for them. I collaborated with artist Alex Storer (some of whose works grace my walls at home) and I have to say the end result looks pretty damn fine – there’s a trailer here.

‘Saving the Arkship’ is now available to play. RichCast is free to download and you can play a number of their shorter titles for free (though Arkship, being a full-length adventure, isn’t free). You can also use it to build your own stories…

Hi Jaine, I have just discovered your hidden empire series and loved all 5 books, however there are so many unanswered questions, will you be writing anymore? As Jarek, Nual & Taro’s story doesn’t as of yet seem to have an ending? I absolutely love the universe you have created and look forward to reading more (hopefully).

Thanks Marc – I’m delighted you’ve enjoyed the Hidden Empire books. I have more planned but at the moment they remain largely unwritten, as I’ve been working on various other projects. I really hope I will find time – and a publisher – for the remaining books (4 of them, ideally)

In case you haven’t seen it, there is a collection of four stories featuring characters from Principles of Angels, called Downside Girls, though it’s more about expanding the world of Khesh City than answering questions about the Hidden Empire universe.

Thanks again for getting in touch; if there is any news I’ll post it here.
