The Gollancz Festival

This time next week Loncon will be in full swing. For those who want to get started early – or who haven’t managed to get tickets to what promises to be the biggest Worldcon evah – then may I recommend the Gollancz Festival, on the 13th August. It starts with all sorts of virtual shenanigans during the day on Twitter and Pinterest, followed by an evening in London featuring a number of the authors also appearing at Worldcon (including yours truly).

The Gollancz Festival will cost you no more than £6, plus whatever it takes to get down to Piccadilly on Wednesday night. Full details can be found here. Also, unlike the sort of festivals I normally go to, it’ll have proper loos.
