Being literary in the West Country

In just under two weeks, on Tuesday July 16th, I’ll be a guest of the Storyslingers writers’ group in Shaftesbury, Dorset. I’ll be appearing with Urban Fantasy author Suzanne McLeod at the Shaftesbury Arts Centre at 6.30pm. We’re planning on doing short readings then a fairly informal Q & A. We’ll do our best to live up to the event’s impressive poster.

After that, next stop Nine Worlds Geekfest, where I’ll be part of a fantastic guest list.

I’ve also got a busy autumn coming up, what with Bristolcon, Novacon and the World Fantasy Convention. Watch this space for details.

Hi Jaine. I co-run Storyslingers and am very much looking forwards to meeting you and Suzanne on the 16th! We’re quite a lively group and it should be a fun evening. It’s awesome that you and Suzanne are visiting. Thanks so much! 🙂

  • Back from the pub hoping for something lively and thought-provoking from Radiohead on the coverage. No chance: all dirge.,
  • Had a v. sugary lunch, so should probably step away from the internet and get back to the eternal battle between Order & Chaos (i.e. work),
  • My favourite monkey, all in one volume. Sweet. ,
  • Still light at 10:30pm. Gotta love the summer ,
