That’s that then

I emailed Bringer of Light off to my agent at 11:55pm on Tuesday evening, technically meeting the November 30th deadline.

Right now I’m feeling slightly lost without the Little Nagging Voice telling me I should be writing. Of course, I still should be writing: I’ve got several short stories I’d like to revisit, not to mention another novel I need to start on. And I’m sure my editor will come back soon with her suggested changes for the novel I’ve just delivered. I’ve also got a long and impressive (though not amazingly interesting) list of non-writing activities, many of them related to the festering season, which is apparently almost upon us. So I’m going to be busy over the next few weeks. But not as busy as I was. Who knows, I may even find time to come up with something worthwhile to say on this blog? No promises, of course.

Thanks – there’s a scarily short lead-time between delivery and publication dates on this one, so I’d better have got it (mostly) right.
