Village Life

Thanks largely to the hacking skills of M the Uber-Geek, we have internet access here.

As ever, our week in Portmeirion is passing far too quickly. It’s featured all the usual fine ingredients: decadent meals, chilling out with friends, late-night tabletop RPG sessions, cocktails, staring contentedly out at the fabulous views and vague discussions about how one day we should really try climbing those spectacular Welsh mountains rather than just eating the sundae (specifically the ‘Chocolate Mountain’ sundae served by Glaslyn ices in Beddgelert – highly recommended).

So far I’ve only had one ‘plot walk’ in the seventy acres of woodlands on the peninsular, though it looks like the rain’s holding off, so I think I’ll be heading out for a nice long one later today, as I’ve got a denouement to consider. Reckon I might just nip up to Beddgelert first though, to fortify myself.
